April 28 - May 02: This week in NFTs, recapped in one letter

Right Click, Recap is a weekly newsletter that helps you stay in the loop of the ever-changing NFT market and its community.️

Gm,

People are worried about a recession and we’re just here minding our own business, collecting jpegs.

It’s been a week of big news across the web3 space:

Pumpfun is facing increased competition, with 2 projects taking the spotlight this week: bonk_fun and boopdotfun are memecoin platforms with gamification and rewards baked in. Boop requires users to launch a coin in order to claim rewards…can’t wait to see how this plays out. 👀

This week’s web3 drama comes courtesy of Nike: they’re facing a lawsuit for shutting down RTFKT, with accusations of a “soft rug-pull” (sounds comfy).

Hype is growing around Espresso’s first NFT collection. “The Composables” is launching soon on Rarible. 👀

And finally, FIFA are launching their own blockchain, and will migrate all existing NFTs over.

That’s web3 baby! 💗

  • Farcon 2025 takes over NYC this weekend, showcasing some of the latest apps on Farcaster.

  • 12 Cryptopunks will be displayed in an upcoming exhibition in theToledo Museum, Ohio.

  • The DAM – Digital Assets Museum – a new museum committed to preserving the history of digital assets is set to open in Florida. Coming soon.

  • Seedclub launched a new crowdfund service making raising funds easier - from pet surgery to dev’s wages, people are crowdfunding things they care about.

Need a new PFP? Apple Farmers Club is a collection of 3,000 unique apple farmer NFTs. Hella cute and a great community. Minting now on Etherlink for 5 XTZ
