April 8 - 12: This week in NFTs, recapped in one letter

Right Click, Recap is a weekly newsletter that helps you stay in the loop of the ever-changing NFT market and its community.️

Gm,

Wake up, frens, we’re less than 10 days away from the next Bitcoin Halving—and who knows what happens next!

Right now, the memecoins frenzy is still going strong, SocialFi is taking a positive turn, and NFT sentiment seems to have left its all-time low (phew).

While most ETH blue chips are recovering, we’re seeing a few million-dollar sales pop up on Ethereum again.

By the way, did you happen to snap this week’s Eclipse OE on ETH via Rarible.com? We’ve been cooking! 🌘

This was also the week when Base not only reached an unforeseen $5 billion in TVL, but also got more contract deployers than the Ethereum mainnet. Onchain summer is coming, and we’re based and early.

Speaking of which, today Rarible brings you an exclusive OE drop on Base by OG NFT artist Dusty. For the next 24 hours, you can get your own LOL™️ gm gm feeling blue.

The upcoming Bitcoin Halving is set for sometime next Sunday, 4/20 (yes, really). Speculation as to how crypto and NFTs will react has taken over CT.

This XCOPY 1/1 sold for 550 ETH on April 9, worth around $1.9 million. In fact, collector interest in XCOPY art has been rising this week.

Better late than never.
