November 18 - 22: This week in NFTs, recapped in one letter

Right Click, Recap is a weekly newsletter that helps you stay in the loop of the ever-changing NFT market and its community.️

Gm gm,

First, a quick look back: last week saw a 94% increase in weekly NFT sales. Read that again fam - 94%. And trust us - this is only the beginning.

$REKT launched today, so if you’re a RektguyNFT holder make sure to claim. And be sure to check out the custom Rektguy marketplace, built by yours truly. 😉

This week we learned that it’s not only the robots launching meme coins it’s * checks notes * literal children too. A 13 year old launched and rugged a coin whilst live streaming…the community quickly doxxed him (and possibly kidnapped his dog? what?)

The bull market continues to bring web3 mainstream with Phantom wallet killing it in the Google app store, ranking at 6 overall.

Which timeline is this?

Buh bye GG 👋

  • As always, the celebs-in-crypto are up to no good: Logan Paul was accused of undisclosed crypto promotions, and Shaq signs an $11M settlement. When will they learn?

  • Azuki announced a partnership with Aniplex and plans to bring the much-loved Fate/strange Fake series to Anime.com.

  • CHILLGUY memecoin has been making waves, but the creator whose artwork was used has taken a very un-chill stance. On Thursday they threatened to issue takedown orders for anyone using their artwork without permission. You do you, I guess.

Joe Pease’s latest 1/1s went to auction this week, and the crowd went wild. The collection was insanely well received across CT (see here, here, and here), and honestly, we totally get it. These videos are surreal, beautiful, and perfectly executed
