October 14 - 18: This week in NFTs, recapped in one letter

Right Click, Recap is a weekly newsletter that helps you stay in the loop of the ever-changing NFT market and its community.️

Gm gm,

From our HQ in Lisbon where Apefest is taking over the city. With tons of dope side events and some of the biggest names in NFTs descending on the capital, it’s set to be a big one.

It’s been a solid week all around: a recent poll by NFT Evening suggests that most investors are happy to stay in NFT, while famous auction house Sotheby's announced they will be auctioning pieces by Botto.

Ethereum is cooking again…Vitalik recently shared some big ideas on the future of the Ethereum protocol, including dropping the limit for validators to 1ETH. Anything that levels the playing field sounds good to us. 👍

Finally, shout out to that poor Bitcoin miner in the UK who lost about 8,000 bitcoin in a landfill in 2013…he is suing his Local Council for the right to dig up his buried bitcoin. You do what you gotta do, right?

This week we’re stanning hard for Nygilia. Her work is a masterclass in storytelling, and for years now she’s been developing the world of Alzena - a mystical afrofuturist being that moves through many realms.

Watch this space, because we’ve got some spooky NFTs dropping with Nygillia soon.

Memecoin mania continues, and even the robots are getting involved. “Terminal of Truths” is an AI created by @AndyAyrey to post autonomously on X.

It recently got into meme coins and invested in GOAT. For a full rundown on what-in-the-sentient-robots is going on, check out this thread from @AISafetyMemes:

The charts are always greener on the other side.
