Petra’s Latest Collection is Dropping on Rarible

'Online Angels' is a collection of unique 1/1s exploring the many layers of the human experience

Vibrant colors, a gentle blur, and characters that capture your imagination – Petra Voice has spent the past few years honing a style that is instantly recognisable. Each character that she brings to life, whether Babe or Boy, is a unique and potent being.

Online Angels is a collection of 222 unique 1/1s, each one an expression of duality and complexity. There are 7 trait categories in total, including alignment and special features. We sat down to chat about all things art and process, exploring how her unique vision formed, how it’s been tested, and how it continues to shift — shaped by family, place, and a dedication to honing her craft.

Rarible: How did your home life and early years set you on the path to becoming the artist you are today?

Petra: "I was definitely influenced by my father, who was an artist. From a young age, I was surrounded by a creative atmosphere where any kind of artistic expression was encouraged and appreciated. My dad would always keep everything I made — drawings, little clay or Play-Doh sculptures — and treated them like they were something truly valuable, even when I thought they weren’t anything special. I always felt believed in".

Rarible: You recently moved to Thailand – in what ways has moving countries influenced your art?

Petra: "Experiencing a different culture definitely reshaped how I think about culture and art in general. There are, of course, global themes, but also strong local ones — plus the influence of the times we live in. I feel like all of that has intersected in my work.

These days, a lot of trends actually originate in Asia and then spread worldwide, and living here helped me realize more clearly who I am as an artist. I stopped trying to fit into someone else’s idea of what art should be. Art can be anything — what matters most is that you genuinely like it. For me, moving to another country has been about freedom and new possibilities".

Rarible: Which parts of your academic training in Fine Art still guide you—and which have you un-learned?

Petra: "My education gave me a solid foundation — understanding composition, rhythm, framing, and color balance. Even in minimalism, there are clear principles, and they still apply no matter what medium you’re working in. I believe that whether it’s classical art or AI-generated work, the core ingredients of something impactful and successful are the same: concept, delivery, emotional resonance.

At the same time, I’ve let go of the more rigid parts of academic training — the pressure to follow technical rules or fit into a “correct” artistic path. Working with AI gave me the freedom to rethink what art can even look like".

Rarible: Do you see AI more as a tool, a collaborator, or something else?

Petra: "Honestly, it’s both. I see AI as a tool and a kind of collaborator. On one hand, I’m fully in control — I direct the process, make decisions, and do the final curation and editing. But on the other hand, AI brings an unpredictability that feels almost like working with another creative mind. It surprises me sometimes, pushes me into new directions I wouldn’t have thought of on my own."

"At this point, I’ve built up a huge collection of models — all slightly different, all shaped by different stages of my creative evolution. It’s almost like layering my past selves into the process. Every time I refine a model, I’m training not just the AI, but also sharpening my own vision."

Rarible: Online Angels feels like an evolution of Babes and Boys. What inspired this new chapter?

Petra: "I’ve always preferred to keep my art a little niche and not overly accessible. I’m not into mass editions or diluting the work — I like to keep things rare and intentional. Maybe I’ve been a bit quiet since releasing Babes over a year ago, but the truth is, I never stopped creating. I’ve been developing my techniques, refining my style, and it felt like the right time to finally share what many people have been waiting for — a set of 1/1 PFPs".

"It’s hard to say I was “inspired” in the traditional sense — this is just what I genuinely love doing. I’m drawn to feminine figures, always have been. Babes were the beginning — when I first started to find this aesthetic. Boys felt like more of an experiment, testing what I could do in that space. And over the past year, that style has grown and solidified. Now felt like the moment to bring it to life in full".

Rarible: Each of the Online Angels have such presence and such powerful identity! What do you think makes each character so potent?

Petra: "Honestly, it’s the curation — I’m extremely hands-on. I’m always looking for ways to add details that feel unique and emotionally striking. But it’s not easy to keep things both stylistically consistent and truly diverse at the same time. The truth is, I generate way more than I ever release".

Rarible: One of the really beautiful qualities about these collections is the softness and the sense of light. How did you arrive at this signature style?

Petra: "I was actually inspired by aerosol art — when artists spray-paint and create that soft, blurry effect in real life. I wanted to experiment with replicating something like that using AI, blending it with the style of my older works (I’ve long been into generating various demon-like figures). The result really surprised me — it turned out so well that a lot of people were shocked it was AI-generated.

As for the light, I’ve always loved retro aesthetics. I try to bring a sense of warmth and atmosphere into my work, like that nostalgic glow. And for me, the final touch — the cherry on top — is the grain. It ties everything together and gives the image that “delicious” texture when paired with the blur. It just makes it all feel whole".
