September 2 - 6: This week in NFTs, recapped in one letter

Right Click, Recap is a weekly newsletter that helps you stay in the loop of the ever-changing NFT market and its community.️

Gm friends,

On red weeks like this, we like to get philosophical and think about life. Just kidding, we browse our NFT collections and scroll CT.

The markets may be low rn but our vibes are high, and there’s been some interesting moves coming from NFT OGs:

Cryptokitties recently released an OE collection of “Eggs”, which have been blowing up on secondary markets, with rare eggs reaching 175x over mint price.

Bored Apes teased the re-release of Dookey Dash, with $1M in prizes (yes please). They also announced a partnership with BMW, and a collab with Bape.

And an Ape Punk NFT sold for $1.5M - the highest price we’ve seen for a Punk in a while.

The team at Curated just launched their Artwork Renderer tool, which you can use to create high res images, GIFs, or even print-ready files of your onchain collection. We love anything that brings our NFTs to life.

Yuma Yanagisawa is a Japanese artist whose mesmerizing algorithmic works have us totally spacing out.  “Contours” uses creative coding to endlessly generate shifting patterns and colors. Minting now for 0.01 ETH ($23).

Still dreaming of that overdue summer vacation? Skyscanner integrated Travala, making 2.2M+ hotels available to book using crypto.

Samsung and Siemens both edge further into web3, with startup investments and digital bonds.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
